Does TrimTone upload my audio?
No. All trimming and processing happens entirely on your device. Your media files never leave your iPhone.
Can I use video files?
Yes! TrimTone can extract audio from video files. Import any video from your library and trim the audio to create a ringtone.
Why 30 seconds?
Apple limits iPhone ringtones to 30 seconds. TrimTone enforces this so your export is always compatible — no surprises.
How do credits work?
Previewing is always free. When you're happy with your trim, exporting the ringtone file uses one credit. Credits are purchased via the App Store.
Can I preview before paying?
Absolutely. You can preview your trimmed audio as many times as you like before spending a credit to export.
How do I set the ringtone on iPhone?
After exporting, TrimTone walks you through the steps: open the file in GarageBand, share it as a ringtone, then select it in Settings → Sounds & Haptics.
